Children's Hand-on Museum of Tuscaloosa, part 1

Back in January, Allan and I took the kids to the Children's Hands-On Museum in Tuscaloosa and thought they would have a really good time there with their friends. We tried a few times to schedule w/ a few friends, but we all kept getting sick. I decided to invite the whole preschool and just about anyone else who was interested. We got a pretty good turnout of 8 adults and 15 children. Here Hunter and his buddy Trey blasting off in the Space Shuttle exhibit.

Hunter and Aubrey Krajicek in the Old Fashioned Soda Shoppe. This museum has the real equipment from a soda shoppe, but the kids actually get to touch and handle everything.

Meghan Kernea, Hunter, Meg Waits
One of the few pictures where I got Molly Maksimowicz facing the camera. This is the other side of the soda shoppe. A little drug store.
Maddi and Hunter making us some yummy pretend goodies!
Aubrey 'making' Miss Lezli a banana split.
Michaela was happy to play customer.
Hunter and Meghan coming out from the Pharmacist's office after 'mixing' a concoction for a customer.

I've got tons more pictures to come. Bear w/ me!
